Dear Neighbor,

My name is Omar Syed and I am proud to announce my campaign for
Saint Paul Board of Education and I am humbly seeking your support in the DFL endorsement process starting with caucuses on Feb. 3rd. 

As a father, husband, and small business owner, I understand the importance of having strong public schools so our children can be ready to take on the world of tomorrow. As a beneficiary of public education, I have seen first hand the value of being in multi-cultural spaces like our public schools.

I am running because I believe in safe, equitable schools for all our students. In these times with federal forces invading our city and right wing activists targeting our public schools, I feel that having immigrant voices in our public offices, especially on our board of education, is more important now than ever before. 

I will work to ensure that we are providing an equitable, safe, and quality education for all our students as well as making our public schools a destination for educators alike.

Please join me in bringing our voices to the Saint Paul Board of Education, for a brighter future for all.
